"The only way to fail permanently is to stop.  Otherwise, the experiment continues and possibilities remain.  If you are willing to persist, observe, be flexible and stay in action you will almost certainly arrive eventually."

                                                                                                                              — Bill O'Hanlon

Mission Statement
To help people fulfil their potential in whatever area(s) they are aspiring – publication, business, speaking, love, family, invention, health, career or vocation, etc.

Josesph Sestito, Author

Joseph Sestito, from an early age, developed an interest in helping people free themselves from suffering – little wonder that as an adult he became a psychotherapist. This vocation is the driving force in his first book, Write for Your Lives:  Inspire Your Creative Writing with Buddhist Wisdom, which is introduced by Robert Thurman and Glenn H. Mullin, the two foremost Western authorities on Tibetan Buddhism and culture.

This book, published by Watkins Publications, was written to help readers become successful and prolific authors, who write primarily for the purpose of helping others. He offers online as well as telephone and in-person coaching to beginning and established writers, as well as providing retreats and workshops to help writers achieve their creative visions.  His most current writing project involves completing a manuscript for a book to be published by Prometheus Publications, titled Feeling Good About Writing:  From Book Concept to Bestseller, which is introduced by Albert Ellis, PhD, who is the prolific founder of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  Joseph is known for the humor, accessibility, inside information, and know-how about helping writers gain access to the world of publication, so that their words can reach and therefore be of help to readers.

This practical guide to successful creative writing not only helps you put words on paper, it explains how to achieve optimal productivity and enjoyment throughout the process. Joseph Sestito’s unique approach combines cognitive behavioral therapy and Buddhist spiritual strategies that can liberate people from procrastination, anxiety, depression, guilt, and other self-defeating emotions. Step by step, he shows would-be authors how to develop a concept for a manuscript, create a successful book proposal, overcome writer’s block, bring the project to fruition, and present it to authors and agents. Lively practical exercises and meditations are interspersed throughout.
